R.J. Solovy is CEO and CIO of Marquee Funding Group and a founding team member since 2009. In his tenure, he has overseen the origination, servicing, and investment sale of more than $2 billion in privately placed real estate loans across residential, commercial, construction, bridge, and special use sectors.
As CEO, R.J. sets the firm’s investment strategy, oversees capital allocation, and drives the growth of Marquee Capital Fund 1, the firm’s private mortgage REIT. He guides MFG’s origination team to deliver assets that protect investor capital and maximize yields while providing borrowers with fast, reliable access to private lending solutions.
R.J. is a Los Angeles native, a graduate of The Buckley School and the University of Colorado at Boulder. He is married and a proud father of two girls.
